To ensure quick vibration suppression, a large PPF scalar gain is often applied. The most important pure elastic constitutive laws commonly utilized to model and analyze contact-impact events in the context of multibody mechanical system dynamics are presented in this chapter.   This contribution outlines a computational framework for the analysis of flexible multibody dynamics contact problems.
